Over the recent quarter, the Nuveen Green Capital team has increased their noteworthy success, witnessing a significant expansion in their CRE portfolio, and collecting prestigious accolades. This quarter, Nuveen Green Capital’s team has won five compelling awards. In a recent GlobeSt-Award which celebrates women who drive the commercial real estate industry forward, Jessica Bailey, President and CEO, was awarded ‘Women of Influence’ within the Finance Executive sector. Additionally, Alexandra Cooley, Co-founder and CIO, was recognized as ‘Ones to Watch’ in the NYREJ Industry Leaders Spotlight sharing her wisdom for future leaders within the industry. Furthermore, Nuveen Green Capitals President and CEO, Jessica Bailey, and Head of Sustainability and Policy, Genevieve Sherman, gained recognition for being two out of six ACEEE Champion of Energy Efficiency in Industry Awards within the Implementation and Deployment Category. The ACEEE Board of Directors’ committee selected winners based on their immense impact, innovation, and leadership in reducing energy waste and implementing sustainable practices.

Nuveen Green Capital is proud to share that the overall organization has received awards within varying categories. The company won ‘Issuer of the Year’ for the GlobalCapital U.S Securitization. In addition, the company was recognized C-PACE Alliance for being the ‘Deal of the Year’ for its Hotel Marcel project. Hotel Marcel was funded by Nuveen Green Capital, being the first anticipated net-zero hotel and Passive House-certified hotel in the country.
