About Maite Sanchez

Maite joined Nuveen Clean Energy in 2021, bringing with her over 16 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, and more specifically in asset management either technical and commercial, for assets under development, construction and operation. Maite holds extensive experience in different technologies, including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV and concentrated solar power.

Previously, at Cubico Sustainable Investments, Maite was responsible of great part of the UK wind and solar portfolio as well as Spanish CSP assets where she was in charge of managing any related commercial, contractual, technical, and legal aspects.

Maite holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad de Alcala, Spain. In 2010 she completed a MSc in Energy and Fuels at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, and in 2017, she finalized her Executive MBA on general administration and management at CESMA Business School in Madrid, Spain.
