About Ji Min Shin

Ji is a managing director on Nuveen’s private placements team. He is responsible for general portfolio management activities, active management of the workout portfolio and leads the research efforts for the team.

Mr. Shin joined the organization in 2009 and has over 17 years of experience investing in multiple asset classes and security types including private credit, loans, bonds, structured finance, subordinated debt, private equity, trade claims, and troubled equity. Prior to joining Nuveen, Mr. Shin worked for Liquidity Solutions, Inc. where he was responsible for the valuation of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings and bankruptcy claims trading.

Mr. Shin holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers College, Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business.
