About Jay Sarma
Jay joined Nuveen Infrastructure’s clean energy team (previously Glennmont Partners) in 2017 and brings over 15 years of global infrastructure experience with over 10 years in the renewable energy sector. In his role, Jay’s primary focus is on clean energy investing where he leads on acquisitions within Nuveen’s flagship clean energy equity funds.
Prior to joining Nuveen Infrastructure, Jay was an Associate Director in the Power & Utilities M&A team at KPMG in London, where he advised utilities, strategics, and private equity and hedge fund investors on offshore wind, onshore wind, and solar PV M&A transactions. He also previously worked in the Natural Resources M&A team at Rothschild in Sydney, Australia where he provided strategic, financial, and capital markets advice to clients in the global mining sector. Jay began his career advising on large-scale PPP/PFI infrastructure transactions in Australia.
Jay holds a BCom in Accounting and Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney.
