About Tony A. Rodriguez

Tony serves in strategic roles as the co-head of fixed income and the leader of the Fixed Income Strategy Committee for Nuveen Asset Management. As the co-head of fixed income, Tony is responsible for the investment process and performance of the entire taxable fixed income group. Tony believes in an unbiased approach to the fixed income market and actively adjusts the sector composition, individual bond selection and overall interest rate strategy for the firm’s portfolios to suit current market conditions.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 2002, he was director and head of global corporate bonds at Credit Suisse Asset Management in New York. Previously, he was managing director and head of corporate bonds for Prudential Global Asset Management. Tony also worked as a portfolio manager for General Electric Investment Corporation, and in various financial management capacities for General Electric.

He received a BA in economics from Lafayette College and an MBA in finance from New York University.
