About John Peruzzi
John Peruzzi is a Managing Director for Energy Infrastructure Credit at Nuveen.
John has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry including credit investing, energy finance, leveraged finance, restructurings and private equity. He served as Global Product Head of Citi’s Credit Opportunities Group, a private credit investment business. He was also a Managing Director in Citi’s Leveraged Finance and Special Assets groups. Prior to Citi, John was a member of Chase Manhattan Bank’s Merchant Banking Group and a partner at Vaxa Capital, a middle market private equity firm.
John graduated from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with an MBA. He was a Fuqua Scholar and awarded a Fuqua Fellowship and Xerox Scholarship. John holds an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Delaware. He has served on several corporate boards as a member or observer.
