About Brenda J. Ojendyk

Brenda is a senior research analyst for Nuveen’s municipal fixed income team, responsible for conducting fundamental credit analysis and contributing to relative value assessments with portfolio managers and traders. She is assigned to cover tax-backed credit sectors.

Brenda started working in the investment industry in 2003 when she joined the firm as a research analyst. From 2006 - 2007, Brenda was involved with product development for mutual funds, structured products and separately managed accounts before returning to the research department as a senior research analyst in early 2008.

Brenda graduated with a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, an M.A. from Miami University in Ohio and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
