About Eliot Javanmardi
Eliot Javanmardi is a Managing Director for Energy Infrastructure Credit at Nuveen. Eliot leverages nearly two decades of experience as an investment professional and energy industry expert.
Prior to joining Nuveen in 2024, Eliot was Managing Director and Head of the Houston office for HPS Investment Partners where he focused on investing across the capital structure for the Energy, Power & Renewables vertical since 2015. Prior to HPS, Eliot was a Senior E&P Equity Analyst and led all large cap E&P coverage for Capital One Securities. The first decade of Eliot’s career was spent at Shell Exploration and Production Co. and Chevron North America Inc. in roles of increasing responsibility as a Reservoir Engineer and Business Development technical professional.
Eliot graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and holds an MBA from Emory University. He is also a graduate of Stanford University’s Energy Innovation and Renewable Technologies program.
