About Richard Dugoff
Rick is a managing director and the lead portfolio manager for Nuveen Real Estate’s U.S. core-plus, open-end debt strategy.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Rick was managing director and head of real estate debt at JP Morgan Asset Management for 16 years. Rick was responsible for strategy, portfolio management, originations and asset management for the firm’s flagship open-ended real estate debt strategy and a series of separate accounts and other pooled vehicles. He served as chair of the investment committee and oversaw new loan investments with a primary focus on senior mortgages and mezzanine debt secured by core and value add commercial properties. Rick spent his first two years at JP Morgan in its investment bank where he had primary responsibility for real estate bridge financings, term loans, unsecured bonds and securities debt products. He began working in the commercial real estate industry in 1991.
Rick graduated with a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He is a member of Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, Pension Real Estate Association and the Urban Land Institute.
