About Christine Stokes
As Head of Client and Retirement Education at Nuveen, Christine is responsible for Nuveen’s advisor education strategy and leads a team of specialists who bring innovative practice management, wealth planning and client acquisition insights to advisors.
She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, is a frequent speaker at events and contributor to publications. Prior to joining Nuveen, Christine served in a number of cross-functional leadership roles at AllianceBernstein and Voya, spanning multi-asset product strategy, defined contribution plan design, client service, operations and marketing. She began her career at MetLife Financial Services as a financial advisor focused on individual wealth and retirement planning.
Christine is a member of the Board of Trustees for Mott Haven Academy, the first charter school in the country designed specifically for children in the child welfare system, and the Board of Trustees for The New York Foundling, a 150-year-old organization whose programs and services help families thrive. She earned a B.A. from Fairfield University and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 24 registrations.
