About James P. McMillin
Jamie is a portfolio manager managing separate accounts for Nuveen’s municipal fixed income team.
Jamie joined the firm in 2016 from Raymond James Financial’s fixed income group, where he served as managing director of municipal bond sales. During his tenure at Raymond James he was responsible for the sales coverage of many of the largest separately managed account and institutional fund managers in the municipal industry, advising on portfolio and market strategy across the credit and maturity spectrum. Jamie began his career in 1981 as a Treasury Bond trader at the Chicago Board of Trade. In 1997 he was named CEO of Eclipse Futures, a financial futures clearing firm. Jamie held a number of leadership positions at the CBOT, culminating in 7 years as a Board of Director of the Exchange.
Jamie graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Knox College.
