About Evan C. Kallberg
Evan is a portfolio manager at Nuveen. He is responsible for managing separate accounts for the municipal fixed income team, focused primarily in the western states of the U.S.
He began his career in the investment industry when he joined the firm as a corporate accountant in 1986. Evan transferred to the municipal research department in 1993, gaining experience in a variety of sectors. His five years of research experience provided a strong foundation for his transition to the firm’s portfolio management group in 1998.
Evan graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas and an M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
