About Daniel R. Dunnigan
Dan is a portfolio manager on Nuveen’s separately-managed account team in the Municipal Department. Dan manages separate-managed accounts in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on municipal ladders and short-term municipal bond strategies.
Dan joined the firm in 2009 as a purchase and sales specialist in the Nuveen global operations group, supporting the separately managed account and mutual fund trading desks. Prior to his current role, Dan spend ten years as a fixed income trader/assistant portfolio manager in charge of daily outflows and tax harvesting within the portfolio management support team. Dan began working in the investment industry in 2008 at U.S. Bancorp, working in the wealth management and securities services group.
Dan graduated with a B.S. in Economics from DePaul University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University, Chicago..
